The power of fashion — to bring back loved ones even from beyond, on a very happy or sad day!
"People are always asking me where I got it from, and I say it's one of the last things that I have of my grandmother that puts her instantly in my presence. She was a very strong woman and I love having a piece of her with me in my everyday style, especially at work when I often need to be reminded that I have a lot of her in me. I'm sure everyone has a talisman that cart around with them or incorporate into their personal style."
Sunny's Latest "Crush It" MomentWorking with an incredible team that I consider family to place Supervisors Jane Kim and Aaron Peskin's bold and timely Inclusionary Affordable Housing Charter Amendment onto the June 7th ballot, which more than doubles the amount of affordable housing that private developers are required to construct in new development projects. The voters pay tax dollars toward affordable housing development, it's time that private developers pay their fair share to help keep working families, teachers, nurses, hotel and restaurant workers and bus drivers in the city that they essentially help hold together and keep running! (Side note: it was actually very fun to work on.) Now we just have to vote YES on C!
